On Nov. 3, the MIPT team was selected for Amazon Alexa Prize Socialbot Grand Challenge!
The Alexa Prize committee has selected the Neural Networks and Deep Learning lab at MIPT team alongside eight others from Stanford University, UC Santa Cruz, University at Buffalo. The Alexa Challenge is a student competition launched in 2016. This year teams have to develop a social bot that can communicate fluently with people for more than 20 mins about news and popular topics through Alexa-enabled devices.
Our DREAM team is participating for the second year in a row. Bot prototyping will begin in November, and the winner will be announced in August 2021.
